An annual boiler service checks safe combustion, flue integrity, operating pressures and component condition. It is also often required to keep manufacturer warranties valid.
Gas work on this service is carried out by Gas Safe registered partner engineers. Ask for the licence number and check it on the Gas Safe Register. Super Plumbers does not claim brand-level Gas Safe registration for itself on this page.
What a service typically includes
Visual and operational checks, cleaning where specified by the manufacturer, testing safety devices, and a record of readings. It is not the same as a repair visit — faults found may need a separate agreed repair.

Between services
Report unusual noises, smells or error codes early rather than waiting for the annual date. A service is preventive; it is not a promise that nothing will fail the following week.
