Situations we see

Corrosion under clips, UV-damaged plastic in outbuildings, DIY push-fit joints that were never fully inserted, and frozen sections that split along their length. Heating and mains cold require different materials and supports.

On site

We isolate and drain the section, cut out defects, fit compliant couplings or soldered joints as appropriate, reclip the run, restore water, and inspect for weeps. Larger re-pipes are quoted as a clear scope with access notes. Emergencies with open flow sit under burst pipe repair.

Boxing and aesthetics

We can leave pipes exposed, boxed, or chased by arrangement. Chasing structural walls needs care and sometimes building advice — we will not chase indiscriminately.

Partial re-pipes

Replacing only the failed metre of pipe is fine when the rest is sound. If every joint in a run is green with corrosion, a planned re-pipe may cost less than serial call-outs over a year.

Heating versus mains

Heating circuit repairs may require inhibitor top-up and venting radiators. Mains repairs need disinfection awareness on longer interruptions — we follow proportionate hygiene practice for domestic scales of work.
