Toilet installation and replacement
Replacing a toilet refreshes a failed pan, updates water efficiency, or completes a bathroom refit. Close-coupled, back-to-wall and wall-hung pans each need correct brackets, soil alignment and cistern support.
Planning points
Check the soil pipe position, whether a macerator is involved, flooring height after new coverings, and whether the stopcock and isolation valves work. Moving a toilet to a new location needs waste and vent design — not just a longer push-fit pipe.
On the visit
We isolate water, remove the old suite, inspect the soil connection, fit the new pan and cistern to manufacturer instructions, seal appropriately, and test for leaks and secure mounting. Price is agreed before installation begins, including any extras discovered such as rotten flooring patches that must be made safe.

Choosing a replacement
Match roughing-in dimensions if you want minimal pipe moves. Back-to-wall units need secure frames and access to the cistern for future valve changes. Soft-close seats are a small upgrade worth fitting while the pan is new.
Water efficiency
Modern cisterns use less water per flush. In hard-water areas, quality fill valves resist scale longer. Ask if you want a particular dual-flush volume.
Disposal
We can remove the old suite for scrap or leave it bagged by arrangement. Confirm when quoting so van space is planned.
