Radiator installation and replacement
New radiators improve output and appearance when sized correctly for the room and boiler capacity. Oversizing or undersizing both create comfort problems.
Planning
We check pipe centres, valve styles (TRV plus lockshield), wall construction for sound fixings, and whether the system needs inhibitor after disturbance. Designer radiators may need different brackets and higher fill volumes.
On site
Isolate and drain as required, remove the old set, fit new valves and radiator, refill, vent, balance roughly against nearby emitters, and check for weeps. Price agreed before removal. System cleans may be recommended via power flushing when opening a dirty system.
